| Temperament |
A properly trained Alaskan Malamute dog, though strong willed, makes an very loyal and devoted companion. If it receives adequate exercise it is even tempered and can be a good family pet. Consistent obedience training is required, starting at an early age. This fun loving animal was bred to work and thus it enjoys being on the go or simply pulling a cart or sled. |

It has a two layered weather proof coat. The outer coat is course, dense and straight. The undercoat is oily, dense, and wooly. |
