The Border Collie dog originates from the border region between Scotland and England. (Hence the name Border Collie.) The Border Collie dog is known around the world for its unique style of herding stock with wide out flanking maneuvers. It controls a captive with an intense gaze and a stalking movement. While herding it displays reasoning and judgment, moving or gathering animals even when beyond the line of sight of its master. Once an animal and a destination are set, it can work without commands.
