The Borzoi dog is a one person animal. It may appear arrogant to others, but it is devoted to its master, to whom it is sensitive and responsive. Indoors it is well mannered and quiet. Outdoors it has boundless energy and will chase just about any small animal that moves. |

| Exercise |
The Borzoi dog was bred as a wolf hunter. Given that distinguishing genetic makeup, it is not surprising that it needs a lot of daily exercise. Preferable it should be allowed to sprint at full speed in a safe area. |

It has a long thick double coat. The outer layer is usually wavy, consisting of long silky hair. |
