Can live outdoors in moderate climates, but because of its social tendencies, it does far better when living indoors with its family. Suitable for apartment living if its exercise needs are met. |
| Exercise |
Requires frequent, preferably daily exercise. This need can be met by outdoor exercise such as a long walk, a jog with its master or lively play in the back yard. |

It has a two layered coat with a dense protective undercoat. Outer coat is short on the head and medium length and silky on the rest of the body. The outer coat can lay flat or be slightly wavy. Has a lot of feathering. |
