The Italian Greyhound Dog
The Italian Greyhound dog, as the name suggests, originates from Italy. Ancestors of dog are assumed to date back well over 2000 years and are believed to have come from Greece, Turkey, and Egypt. The Italian
Greyhound dog has been a companion to many famous people throughout history including James I of England, Queen Victoria, Anne of Denmark, Frederick the Great of Prussia, and Catherine the Great of Russia. Not an
insignificant list of historic celebrities! Although it may give the impression of being delicate, it is in fact a reasonably hardy dog.
