The West Highland White Terrier Dog
The West Highland White Terrier Dog originates from Scotland dating back to the 1800's. It shares a common ancestry with
several other breeds including the Scottish Terrier, the Dandie Dinmont Terrier, the Cairn Terrier and the Skye Terrier.
It was recognized as a separate breed at the beginning of the 20th century. Today it is quite a popular breed in North America,
Europe, and Japan. Its popularity exists both in the show ring and as a family pet.
